Beach Week

This week was supposed to be our family beach week with my wife’s family. We drove five hours to Edisto Beach on Sunday and got some quality time with them for a day. Monday evening tropical storm Debbie was supposed to roll through so we quickly packed up the boys and evacuated home. It was a long and tense drive full of rain, and we didn’t get home until 1 AM. Although it was stressful, it was a good reminder to us that when life gets tough - staying strong as a family is most important. We felt encouraged by how our family handled the situation, especially the boys, and although it’s a huge bummer to miss the beach we now have a story to show for it.

Another positive note, we did get a gentlemen’s run in while there. Me, my 2 boys, and their 2 uncles.
